Getting to the root cause of OEE
A UK-based OEM Electronics manufacturer requested Director-level intervention to conduct a business efficiency review, where Brandauer introduced bottleneck resolution tools to eradicate the root cause of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) degradation.
The 14-day project results in a monthly saving of circa. £10,000 monthly for the client.
Prototype tooling unlocks On Time Delivery (OTD)
A UK-based busbar supplier with a key standing in the battery cell supply chain commissioned Brandauer to review and consult on problematic prototype tooling that was causing delays with component delivery.
An in-depth six-month project resulted in a refined prototype tooling process, designed to stabilise production, and eradicate delays and the subsequent knock-on effects. The customer registered a 77% improvement in OTD, a key performance indicator measuring the rate of finished products and deliveries made on time.
Combining connection methods to deliver an interconnect solution concept
An EU-based E-machine assembler requested a new interconnect component that combined two technologies: IDC and press-fit. A feasibility study and scalable manufacturing solution was defined that offers a tiered part cost profile and a new component concept in just four weeks.
