This award was presented to the team at Brandauer for the services to making and delivering millions of precision parts across the world every week.

Over 75% of the firm’s output is exported all over the world. From China, to India, Egypt, Israel, USA and all over Europe.

This was also off the back of a year-on-year increase since 2015 and has brought Brandauer to operating in over 22 countries, something in which the company still continues to do today. Brandauer was already hugely established in overseas markets and The Queen’s Award was the icing on the cake, truly showcasing the dedication that went into securing international growth for the company.

In 2024, Brandauer achieved what very few SMEs have achieved in the UK: receiving two Royal Awards. This award was specifically given to Brandauer for recent innovations in tooling, and came just a short four years after the Queen’s Award for International Trade was awarded.

CEO Rowan Crozier MBE spoke about the importance of the King’s Award:

“It’s so difficult to get royal endorsement once, so to get a second award is a tremendous achievement for the business and reinforces our determination to be world class in everything we do.

“The initial title had already helped us win new contracts, especially in the US where the Royal Family are highly revered. I’m hoping the Innovation Award will showcase our new precision modular tooling capability to new audiences and help us achieve our aim of delivering significant growth in this area over the next few years.

“It has been the whole team’s labour of love; coming up with this new process and technology approach, taking more than three years to complete. Now we have a Micron Precision Tooling offer that is no longer expensive or inflexible for our customers and takes weeks out of production, reduces tooling costs by 25% on average, and will transform production efficiencies for our customers.”
