Traditionally, low-volume manufacturing at Brandauer has involved a single stage press tool and stamping methods. Whilst piece part cost would have been lower, the initial cost to setup a tool is normally a lot higher than a company is willing to pay for. With Brandauer’s CNC metal forming capabilities, the initial pitfall of tooling costs are completely removed.
A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) metal forming machine is designed to form flat blank metal components into 3D bent parts with standard tooling being used.
With a capacity for bends up to 150mm wide and 2.0mm thick, our CNC metal forming service is ideal for creating complex, small-scale geometries with uncompromising quality.
