Laser cutting

Brandauer’s laser cutting services deliver accurate, efficient cutting for complex metal components with clean edges and consistent results. This process is ideal for companies that demand quick turnaround components without compromising on precision.

Fast, flawless cuts that transform your metal designs into reality

Laser cutting is an advanced manufacturing process that uses a high-powered laser beam to cut through substrate materials. Brandauer’s compact laser cutting system delivers exceptional precision for processing thin-gauge metal and alloys. Built from a high-precision granite motion module and powered by the latest 1.5kW fibre laser technology, our system combines accuracy with speed and reliability.

Who is this for?

This type of manufacturing leans perfectly into lower-volume manufacturing, from one-off production runs to consistent low-volume manufacturing. This machine allows for thin-gauge precision components to be fully manufactured without the need for a blanking tool.

Previously, this level of precision manufacturing would have required a dedicated tool to enable low-volume production to commence. Nowadays, none of that is required, meaning the longer lead times and initial investment have been completely mitigated without the loss of precision.

Expanding on this, if you need components quickly, Brandauer can turn around orders in as little as 48 hours from initial enquiry, subject to material availability. This level of speed and precision is helping companies move parts into testing, validation, and real-world use within days of placing a purchase order.

Part of Brandauer’s prototyping service

Brandauer’s high-precision laser cutting technology is the cornerstone of Brandauer’s dedicated rapid prototyping service. This is a comprehensive solution that combines laser cutting and CNC metal forming to produce fully formed, thin-gauge precision components without the requirement for an initial investment into the tooling.

On top of this cheaper alternative to precision components, one unique offering with this solution is the turnaround speed from enquiry to delivery of components. What would previously require three different suppliers, Brandauer can now deliver rapid quotes, and transform your design from a 2D drawing into a fully formed 3D component in as little as 48 hours.
