Brandauer’s Special Products Division (SPD) is a cell within Brandauer’s manufacturing facility that’s dedicated to lower-volume, repeatable manufacturing.
Not every precision manufacturing project requires millions of components to be produced. Sometimes, projects don’t require high-speed, modular, tooled solutions.
Brandauer’s Special Products Division sets out to make precision components more accessible, providing solutions at a more cost-effective, but still highly precise, finished part.

From R&D to consistent manufacturing
The special products division can serve a range of demands; a first-time manufacturing run, a one-off prototype, or even an established manufacturing run with low-volume requirements.

The Special Products Division is a completely independent manufacturing cell with its own machinery and capabilities, including wire EDM, laser cutting and forming, etching and blanking, with access to a range of flexible power presses and the ability to 3D print fixtures for prototype assembly projects.
Whether the requirement is for a one-off or the staged development of a process/component to higher volume, the Special Products Division delivers an all-inclusive solution.

Before taking any product to a high-volume manufacturing solution (which requires significant capital investment), laser cutting and forming a part through the precision prototyping service will allow customers to validate a part before taking it to scale.
