Brandauer’s recent on-the-ground partnership with industry specialists in the US market has proven successful, removing time-zone barriers and easing customer access to the company’s stamping, tooling and precision component expertise.
As a result, our approach to expanding in-person representation in foreign markets has continued with a new partnership in Europe. We have appointed industry specialist Jürgen Wollbold, who will remove language barriers for Brandauer’s current and future customers in France, Germany and Spain.
With Jürgen’s breadth of experience in manufacturing, tooling and product development – as well as his multilingual skills – he will be a strong local interface between European customers and Brandauer’s team based in Birmingham, UK.
The partnership will strengthen relations between Brandauer’s existing and prospective European partners, streamlining product discussions by speaking in native languages and allowing for more regular and productive in-person meetings.
Clear communication guaranteed
Language and communication are crucial in all aspects of business, particularly in Brandauer’s niche of precision engineering.
Jürgen’s native proficiency in German, fluency in French and English, and B2 proficiency in Spanish will provide the company with clarity on the needs and wants of European customers, allowing Brandauer’s UK team to provide their production and manufacturing services with seamless efficiency.
Having a multilingual representative on hand in Europe proves especially useful during international exhibitions, DFM workshops and initial discovery calls with the Brandauer team, where they will be able to communicate their vision, principles and processes in an effective, comprehensible way for all visitors.
Continued exporting investment post Queen’s Award
Brandauer’s clear focus on communication makes evident their commitment to fostering relationships with new and established markets on an international level, already having experience in exporting to 23+ countries and receiving the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2019.
This strategic move will support the continued expansion of Brandauer’s exporting portfolio whilst nurturing and strengthening its preexisting relationships with foreign markets.

About Jürgen
Jürgen has a rich background in demanding manufacturing environments, gathering vital experience in machining, tooling and product development. In his own words, he “fits well with Brandauer’s strength in precision stamping, in-house tooling, controlled NPI, laminations and press-fit applications.”
When asked about what his role could add to Brandauer, he explained: “I will add value by helping customers clarify technical requirements earlier, improve communication and create a more efficient path from first contact. I will help to create relevant dialogue around manufacturability, tooling, process stability and long-term production requirements.”

Meet Jürgen and Brandauer at Micronora 2026
Brandauer will be attending Micronora, held from 29th September to 2nd October 2026. The international microtechnology trade fair is taking place in Besançon, France, and Jürgen will be in attendance to discuss Brandauer’s vision, products and processes.
Brandauer is encouraging all current and prospective EU clients, specifically in the French and German regions, to contact Jürgen Wollbold directly either through his LinkedIn profile or by contacting his email address to explore how this new strategic partnership can support their long-term plans and ensure a strong, collaborative relationship from day one.
