For the first time in its 163-year history, Brandauer is strengthening its presence in the US market by appointing permanent, on-the-ground representation. Industry specialists Brian Coyne and Lauren Brown will act as an extension of the Brandauer team, giving US customers local access to the company’s stamping, tooling and precision component expertise.
By establishing a US-based presence, we are making it easier for customers to speak directly to our team during their own working day, without the challenges of navigating time-zone differences. Brian and Lauren will be the face of Brandauer in the USA, providing a clear, local point of contact for both existing and prospective customers.
Why the US, and why now?
In the summer of 2025, Brandauer exhibited in the USA for the first time at Coiltech Detroit. During the show, the team held several meaningful conversations with American businesses and CEO Rowan Crozier MBE has since identified a clear rising uncertainty in global supply chains.
Brandauer has historically won much of its work through in-person engagement with potential customers, but we wanted to offer the same level of direct interaction to US businesses. This move now allows American companies to build a long-term strategic partnership with Brandauer, supported by regular in-person and virtual meetings with a familiar local team.
For Brandauer, placing a physical presence in the USA for current and future customers was a simple, strategic decision.
What does this mean for US customers?
Now that you have a basic understanding of the NPI process, it’s good to know what it can do for your business. Outside of the reasons mentioned so far in the blog, below is a comprehensive list of what NPI can do for your business or project launch.

Bridging the time-zone gap
No more struggling to schedule meetings around awkward time differences. US-based customers can now contact Brian or Lauren directly, within their own time zone, to arrange in-person or online meetings quickly and easily.

Closer strategic partnerships
Brandauer’s most successful relationships are built on collaborative, face-to-face discussions and treating Brandauer as an extension of the customer’s own team. For US-based companies, having local Brandauer representation makes it easier than ever to develop a close, long-term partnership focused on improving products and processes through precision-engineered components.

Faster project turnaround
Direct access to Brandauer in US working hours means quicker responses to enquiries and project updates. The UK team remains fully involved and on hand to support, working alongside the new US representatives to ensure continuity, responsiveness and a seamless service.
A key step in Brandauer’s post-MBO growth
In September 2025, Brandauer underwent a historic management buyout. New owner and CEO Rowan Crozier MBE has championed this new strategic relationship with the US. He explains:
“Our business in the USA has increased recently whilst operating remotely, and we want to support that growth with feet on the ground.
“Following the preferential UK tariff announcements, our RFQs strongly suggest a real need for what we can offer, while also positioning us as a competitive alternative to Chinese imports into the USA. Businesses globally are looking for certainty and stability in their supply chains and manufacturing methods, and that is something I truly believe Brandauer offers.
“Choosing to partner with Brian and Lauren was an easy decision for us. We wanted to make sure the people we work with understand our customers’ pain points without losing any of the Brandauer value we currently provide. With proven, successful experience in stamping and tooling, the whole team fits Brandauer’s niche perfectly and will make an extremely valuable contribution to the business and our client base.”
Brandauer is no stranger to exporting. We currently export over 75% of our production and received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2019. Working with international customers is second nature to the Brandauer team. By combining this expertise with a physical presence in the US, we are expecting strong, sustainable growth in the American market for all parties involved.

Brian Coyne, of LB&A Rep, added: “We are very excited to be working with C. Brandauer & Co. Ltd. To assist them with their international growth plans is a great honour, and being part of a company with such a rich history is an exciting prospect and challenge for us here in the States. I truly believe my previous experience and expertise in stamping and tooling will add real value to Brandauer and to both current and future customers.”
Brandauer is encouraging all current and prospective US customers to contact Brian Coyne and Lauren Brown directly to explore how this new strategic partnership can support their long-term plans and ensure a strong, collaborative relationship from day one.
