Brandauer travelling to France for Micronora 2026

From 29th September to 2nd October, Brandauer will make its first appearance at Micronora, the international exhibition dedicated to microtechnology and high-precision engineering.

Held at Micropolis in Besançon, France, this is a natural fit. Micronora is held every two years, and exists to showcase companies that design, produce and control components with a margin of error measured in microns. That is precisely the world Brandauer has operated in for over 160 years.

Micronora 2026

The importance of Micronora

Micronora brings together researchers, design offices, manufacturers, subcontractors and metrology experts from across the globe, all working to the same common denominator: precision, increasingly combined with miniaturisation.

The show’s reach spans aeronautics, space, defence, medical technology, luxury goods and telecoms; these are all sectors where the smallest component often carries the biggest responsibility.

Exhibiting in Hall B1, Stand 610, this gives Brandauer the chance to connect directly with European engineers and designers who understand exactly what it takes to hold a tolerance to within a fraction of the width of a human hair, and who are looking for a manufacturing partner capable of doing exactly that, at volume.

Meet Jürgen Wollbold

Supporting the team at Micronora will be Jürgen Wollbold, who joined Brandauer to strengthen its presence and relationships across European markets. With decades of experience in machining, tooling and product development, Jürgen brings a depth of technical understanding that helps customers clarify their requirements earlier and build a smoother, more direct path from first contact to production.

Micronora will be Jürgen’s first exhibition representing Brandauer, and his multilingual, on-the-ground presence in Europe means visitors to Hall B1, Stand 610 can expect genuinely technical conversations.

Meet Brandauer at Micronora

For engineers and manufacturers exploring precision stamping, micro-component production or a new tooling partner in Europe, Micronora is the place to start that conversation.

Brandauer’s team, including Jürgen Wollbold, will be on hand throughout the show to talk through specific applications and demonstrate what over 160 years of precision engineering experience looks like at micron scale.

See you in Hall B1, Stand 610!
